VALA CLARK ARTIST BIO
Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, to a first generation immigrant family, I was
influenced by street fights, ethnic food, and the excess design sense of the Russian Orthodox Church.
I shared a room with my older sister, whose bookshelves contained Carlos Castaneda, Krishnamurti, and the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
In the ‘8os, I attended Parsons School of Design in New York. Over the years, my day job has been a graphic designer, while persuring my passion for colour and painting.
